Bike map & navigation

Plan with touring, road, gravel or mountain-bike profiles and ride with a map, speed display, elevation profile, turn instructions and voice guidance directly in HBTA.

GPS recording

Reliably record distance and duration, even when the display is off. The speed display smooths several quality-checked location measurements so that individual GPS jumps have less impact.

Your tour analysis at a glance

After finishing, you see the map, distance, active riding time, average speed and ascent. If enough reliable elevation data is available, an elevation profile is added, and Follow tour lets you start it again later.

Install directly on your Android phone

Hugos Bike-Touren App is currently available here as a directly distributed, signed APK. The following steps apply to this direct download: for the first installation, Android asks for permission to install apps from this source. For later direct updates, Android may additionally request this permission for HBTA. The app's own update check tells you about new direct APK versions; alternatively, you can download them here.

The closed Google Play test is running for approved testers. A public Play release is not yet available. With the Play version, installation and updates take place exclusively through Google Play, without enabling “Install unknown apps”. Learn more about both installation methods.

Personal and deliberate: You explicitly decide whether a tour remains private, is shared by link or becomes visible in the community. You can hide the start and end areas of recorded tours before sharing; age, weight and calories stay private on your device.

    Create an account & start

    Register with your email address. Before the first GPS recording, you grant the optional GPS/tour-data permission and Android access to your precise location. You can activate the separate fitness analysis with age and weight independently. On Android versions with a separate notification permission, HBTA asks for that too.
